Road Trees of Vashon
The Landmark Tree program arose out of the VMI Audubon Conservation Committee in 1990. We have about 75 trees measured and annotated with owner-permission.

Quartermaster Harbor Important Bird Area
Tucked between the southern tip of Vashon Island and neighboring Maury Island, Quartermaster Harbors shallow protected waters, mudflats, and beaches are a haven for bird life. This area is now dersignated an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. More
